Summer Youth Recreational & Leisure Activities Consultant

COSTI REQUIRES SUMMER YOUTH RECREATIONAL & LEISURE ACTIVITIES CONSULTANTS FOR ITS YOUTH HEALTH & RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

The Youth Recreational & Leisure Consultant will develop general fitness, recreational and leisure activities for youth participants.

Duties:

  • The student will work with 8 developing athletes, ages 6-10, in a recreation and competitive track and field program.
  • The student will develop a general fitness program for 5 of the youth looking to improve their fitness and 3 months competitive plan for the other 3 youth interested in competing.

    • Qualifications:

  • Have 1 year experience in the sport, recreation and leisure field dealing with youth.
  • Excellent demonstrated communication, organization and coordination skills.
  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
  • Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
  • Is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/ territorial legislation and regulations.

    		 June 10, 2019 to August 2, 2019

    Starting Salary Range:

    		 $14.00 per hour
