Test of English as a Written Language (TWE)
COSTI’s Test of English as a Written Language (TWE) program helps students at an advanced level of English to prepare for the written component of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). TOEFL is an examination that evaluates the English proficiency of individuals whose native language is not English. Many government agencies, scholarships programs, and licensing/certification agencies use TOEFL scores to evaluate English proficiency. The TWE program is delivered by certified instructors in partnership with the Toronto Catholic District School Boards.
Students attending the TWE program, will:
- Practice communication and test-taking strategies;
- Practice sample questions and responses;
- Focus on relevant grammar; and
- Improve writing and vocabulary skills.
