Le Caravelle Club
“Le Caravelle” is an Italian senior citizens’ club composed of members who reside in the College Street and Grace Street area. Overseen by COSTI, the objective of the club is to reduce the isolation and loneliness experienced by seniors and to encourage them to engage in educational, recreational and social activities within the community.
Services Available
- Recreational activities such as card games, bocce, films, and trips.
- Referrals to other community organizations when required, such as Canadian Italian Family Assistance Association.
- Support services, such as friendly visits at home or hospital. Documentation of pension forms and government letters.
Service at this location is provided in English, Italian and Spanish.
Who is Eligible
Services are available to all Italian seniors over the age of 55 and disabled individuals over 50 residing in the south central area of Toronto.
