MAYOR MAURIZIO BEVILACQUA CUTS RIBBON AT OPEN HOUSE AND ANNOUNCES $10,000 DONATION TO COSTI

COSTI is pleased to announce that on November 25, 2015, while participating in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the relocation of COSTI's Employment and Community Services, Vaughan's Mayor, Maurizio Bevilacqua, announced a $10,000 donation to COSTI, a contribution from the Mayor's Gala! "I'm surprised and very pleased" said Bruno M. Suppa, President of the Board of COSTI. "We have been providing employment services in Vaughan for over 20 years and have always worked quietly and diligently to help our clients achieve their goals and dreams. Today's recognition by the Mayor and contribution towards the needs of our clients is most appreciated." Program funders, community partners, City of Vaughan Councillors Tony Carella and Mario Ferri, as well as COSTI Board and staff were on-hand to hear the announcement and participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

A variety of employment services as well as one-on-one individual counselling and settlement services are available at the 3100 Rutherford Road location. Employment services include: employment planning, preparation and placement services, information on second career, youth employment services, and recruitment services for employers. Over the past four years, the Mayor's Gala and the Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua Annual Charity Golf Classic have brought a renewed spirit of generosity and compassion to Vaughan. As premier fundraising events, together they have raised a combined total of $3.3 million in support of more than 100 not-for-profit organizations and community groups.
