COSTI is pleased to announce its newest online training program for women who have
been abused or who are at-risk of abuse.

Certificate Training Course

Through the financial support received from the Ontario Women’s Directorate, the Women of Courage initiative will provide participants across Ontario with the opportunity to engage in an online certificate training course; and to also receive assistance with job search and work placement once they have completed the course.  This exciting new initiative will help build confidence and self-esteem, and will enable women to gain marketable skills, as well as acquire financial sustainability.

The Computerized Bookkeeping Accounting Clerk Certificate course, made available through Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, will provide participants with recognized CGA accounting training, and academic support to successfully complete a college certificate.  The

Violence Against Women services will also be available to participants through COSTI and other local service providers.  The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic and the Woman Abuse Council of Toronto will provide safety protocols and linkages to these local and networking support services.
