If you have considered a career in the website design and development area, or are just interested in improving your skillset, register for the Introduction to Coding Courses at COSTI!
New sessions are set to start in June 2021 and will provide you with an opportunity to learn what coding is, the benefits of learning it, and what today’s common coding languages are.

Services Available
In this course you will:
- Increase your overall understanding of how the technology works
- Prepare for a career in Information Technology (IT)
- Improve your chances of gaining meaningful employment
- Improve your problem solving and thinking skills
Learning coding will empower you to do many things, such as:
- Create your own website
- Become a career coder
- Start a technology business
- Take on positions that require coding skills
Who is Eligible
Courses are available to immigrant women who are permanent residents, convention refugees, or refugee claimants with a valid one-year work permit
Program Intake
This is a 5-week training, offered on Tuesday & Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings.

Tuesday & Thursday, 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm or Saturday, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
