In this informative session, participants will learn about the free services and resources available to Ontario residents, including support for newcomers looking to build their skills, pursue further education, or explore new career opportunities. Contact North representatives will explain how to find and register for online courses and programs offered by Ontario colleges, universities, and other education and training providers. Participants will also learn about opportunities to upgrade their skills, explore career-related training, access information about financial assistance, and receive personalized guidance from Education and Training Advisors. Additional supports, such as technology assistance and laptop loan services (subject to availability and eligibility), will also be discussed. By the end of the session, participants will have a better understanding of how to access these resources, identify learning opportunities aligned with their career goals, and take practical steps toward improving their qualifications and employment prospects in Canada.
