Guest Speaker: LCSP – Know Your Rights

Gain a better understanding of your rights and responsibilities as an employee in Ontario through this informative guest speaker session presented by Labour Community Services of Peel (LCSP). This workshop provides an overview of key workplace rights, including minimum employment standards, wages, hours of work, leaves of absence, workplace health and safety, and protections against discrimination and harassment. Participants will learn about common workplace issues, where to seek support if their rights have been violated, and the resources available to help them navigate employment-related concerns. The session also offers an opportunity to ask questions and develop a greater understanding of how to advocate for fair and respectful treatment in the workplace, helping participants feel more informed and confident as they enter or continue working in the Canadian labour market.
