Canadian Italian Family Assistance Association
The Canadian Italian Family Assistance Association (CIFAA) is dedicated to helping individuals and families access socio-economic entitlements, whether domestic or foreign. Services are offered primarily to Canadians of Italian origin, as well as individuals from the Portuguese and Hispanic communities.
COSTI oversees the management of CIFAA and acts as its trustee.

- Referrals to COSTI and other Patronati (Italian pension information offices)
- Assistance with government pension forms and related communications
- Translation and notarization services
- Assistance accessing pensions, welfare benefits, and compensation entitlements
- Services provided in English and Italian
Who is eligible?
Services are available to all seniors and adult members of the Italian-Canadian population as well as those from other heritages residing in Toronto.
