English Communication (LINC) Class

Starting life in a new country is easier when you can communicate confidently. COSTI’s English Communication (LINC) class helps newcomers with Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels 1 to 3 improve their listening and speaking skills through practical, everyday conversations.

This program is part of Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) and follows the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB/NCLC) framework. Your progress will be assessed using the Portfolio-Based Language Assessment (PBLA).

Who is eligible?

Services are available to permanent residents and convention refugees. Students must be 18 years of age or older.

This program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
