Gambling, Gaming and Technology Use Services

Moving to a new country brings many changes—yet for some newcomers, gambling, gaming, or technology use can become a hidden struggle. It may begin as a way to cope with stress or loneliness, but over time, it can affect your finances, relationships, and well‑being. These challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when support is not offered in your language or culture.
COSTI’s Gambling, Gaming and Technology Use Services are here to help.
Our program offers confidential support in many languages and is designed to help you regain control, rebuild stability, and improve your mental well‑being. When you feel supported and understood, it becomes easier to make healthy choices and move toward a stronger future in Canada.
We work closely with community partners to bring prevention, education, and treatment directly into diverse cultural groups. Our counselling approach is culturally grounded, easy to access, and focused on real‑life solutions that help you and your family.
Services include counselling for individuals, couples, families, and groups, assessments, phone support, referrals, education sessions and community outreach. Support is available in Arabic, Dari, English, Farsi, French, Hindi, Italian, Malayalam, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrigna, Ukrainian and Urdu.
