This program supports job seekers including newcomers, youth and adults as they prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce. The program helps individuals build the skills, confidence and connections needed to find and maintain meaningful employment through a personalized and integrated service approach.

Program highlights
- One-on-one employment consultation with an Employment Consultant
- Job placement support, including referrals to job leads and postings
- Access to apprenticeship opportunities
- Subsidized on-the-job training and direct employment placement options
- Individualised employment action plans
- Career exploration through job trials, job shadowing and volunteer placements
- Workshops and online training opportunities
- Employment start-up supports such as transportation and work attire
- Mentorship matching for newcomer professionals in their field
- Ongoing follow-up and support for up to 12 months after employment
- Networking events, job fairs and post-employment workshops
Who is eligible?
- Unemployed or underemployed residents of Toronto, Region of Peel and York Region
- Additional eligibility criteria may apply for specific services
