Resettlement Assistance Program

COSTI provides temporary accommodation and initial settlement services to Government Assisted Refugees destined to Toronto and referred by IRCC through the Resettlement Assistance Program. 

Program highlights

  • Temporary accommodation and support in securing permanent housing
  • Comprehensive needs assessments and referrals to community-based services
  • Orientation on financial assistance, benefits, and other settlement-related information
  • Life skills training, including parenting, child welfare, financial literacy, and banking
  • Connections to essential federal, provincial, and community programs and services

Who is eligible?

Services are available to Government-Assisted Refugees (GARs) who were originally destined to Toronto and referred by IRCC.

The Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
