Enhanced Language Training for Internationally Experienced Professionals
COSTI’s Enhanced Language Training (ELT) program is ideal for newcomer professionals with international experience and with Canadian Language Benchmark levels five to six. The program is delivered in both online and blended modes. COSTI offers two kinds of ELT programs:
- Online ELT Program: Ideal for professionals with prior experience in Accounting and Finance, Teaching and Education, Health Care, Information Technology, Office Administration and Customer Service for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

- Updated CLB assessment at the end of the program to reflect your language progress
Who is Eligible
Online ELT Program: Services are available to individuals who have acquired professional qualifications and experience outside of Canada and who have been unable to access employment in their field of expertise. Individuals must have occupational training and experience in the respective profession or trade. Participants must be Permanent Residents, Convention Refugees or Protected Person at Canadian Language Benchmark levels CLB 5 - 6. Language assessments will be arranged to determine eligibility.
Specialized ELT programs: This program is open to Permanent Residents, Convention Refugees, and Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) holders at Canadian Language Benchmark levels CLB 5 - 6.
