BE A PART OF A DYNAMIC AND DIVERSE ORGANIZATION AS A MANAGER, HRIS FOR ITS HEAD OFFICE

This is a fulltime non-union position scheduled to work 35 hours per week.

Duties:

  • NAV Onboarding Management: Prepares and creates full integration to new and existing employees within NAV and Webapps systems.  All Onboarding documents are vetted for accuracy and completion before entry. Partners with Payroll and IT to complete full activation.
  • NAV Data Management:  Updates existing employee Job assignments, Dimension Code assignment and transfer requests, Salary grids, Leave of absence, and Terminations.
  • EWA User Maintenance: Provides accurate updates on Webapps access, Management approval assignment, Dimension Code alignment and User profile code updates.
  • CIS Maintenance: Create and maintain Staff set-up. For example, changes in employee assignment, reporting Manager, location, activation status and terminations.
  • Webapps Management: Create Login Access, Employee Profile, Assignments, Management Teams, Expense Claims, and Delegation set ups.  Problem solving, solution/recommendation, required corrections/updates.
  • Troubleshooting on areas such as HR Positions and Activities List, EWA User Card, Assignment Card, Time and Attendance, Pay Structures, problem escalation, and working with Specialist to reach the best solution to the problem while developing detailed steps for solutions, ideas, or processes for added “How-to” resources.
  • Training management and employees on topics such as Profiles, Time Entries, Absence Requests, Expense / Claims, Team Assignments, Pay Statements, Tax Forms as applicable.
  • Generating Reports such as Active Employees Report, Dim Code Combination Transfer reports and Managerial Team reports
  • Pay Grid Management including: preparation of salary grids, apply mass wage increases within NAV while in keeping with Collective Agreement and exempt staff wage obligations, layoffs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Human Resources management or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 4 years of work experience as an HRIS Manager or similar role, within an ERP system, preferably within Microsoft Dynamics. HRIS Management of system comparable to an EAP system including 550+ employees. 
  • The Manager, HRIS will have their own catchment area
  • Experience providing Microsoft Dynamics reporting solutions to HR/business users is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with complex HR database administration.
  • ⁠Strong technical aptitude for HR systems functionality, analytical, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail to help maintain our HRIS architecture, processes, security, and data integrity.
  • Existing and current Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification required.
  • Senior level computer skills are required in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Pivot tables, V Lookup, Word, PowerPoint, MS Edge and SharePoint.
  • Highly developed organizational skills and detail orientated.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills in English. The ability to speak another language is an asset.
