Aspects On-Line is a partnership project between COSTI, OCASI (Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants), and the York Catholic District School Board, that will provide internationally trained professionals residing in the Greater Toronto Area, with the opportunity to acquire on-line sector-specific workplace communication training, information and referral, employment advice, and peer support.

Job Search Workshops for Immigrants

The Job Search Workshop program facilitates the employment of new immigrants to Ontario by familiarizing them with effective job-search practices and techniques in Canada. This goal is achieved through the delivery of culturally sensitive pre-employment workshops in selected regions across Ontario, such as Kitchener-Waterloo, Windsor, London, Hamilton, Ottawa, St. Catherine's, Durham, and Toronto. SkillsInternational.ca

A grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation will connect employers across Ontario with internationally educated professionals who are new to Canada through a new website: SkillsInternational.ca. This provincial site is the first of its kind in Canada. Visit www.skillsinternational.ca.
