Expressway - Cybersecurity Bridging Program

Interested in a career in Cybersecurity?

COSTI’s Expressway Cybersecurity Bridging program in partnership with Sheridan College, prepares internationally training Information Technologists for jobs in the Cybersecurity sector, including Cybersecurity Specialist/Technician, Cybersecurity Incident Analyst/Responder, and Cybersecurity Analyst.

Offered by Sheridan College, individuals have an opportunity to register for three Cybersecurity courses: Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Offensive Security 1 and Offensive Security 2.

The program includes four weeks of pre-employment preparation in a virtual setting followed by over 12 weeks of online Cybersecurity training and ongoing case management for up to 12 months.

Individuals who qualify, may receive a full tuition subsidy (some conditions apply).

Who is Eligible

Services are available to individuals who have acquired professional qualifications and experience outside of Canada and who have been unable to access employment in their field of expertise.

Individuals must be able to communicate at an advanced level of English (CBL Level 7 or higher) and have training and international work experience in a highly skilled occupation.

Participants must be landed, conventional refugees, individuals on a Minister's Permit or refugee claimants with a valid work permit.
