Enhanced Language Training Program - Pathways to Trades

COSTI's Enhanced Language Training (ELT) Pathways to Trades program is designed for newcomers to Canada seeking employment in construction trades or maintenance roles. Experience working in the trades is not required. The program offers instructor-led English classes tailored to CLB 3 to 6, focusing on industry-specific terminology and communication skills.

Women-specific Employment Training (WSET)

Starting January 22, 2022, COSTI will be offering women-specific employment-related language courses for female students who are Permanent Residents, Convention Refugees, or Minister’s Permit holders.

This training program is focused on enhancing vocabulary related to the specific occupational sector and facilitating their transition to employment.

Youth Job Connection Virtual Information Session

The Youth Job Connection (YJC) program serves youth aged 15-29 experiencing multiple barriers to employment.
