Volunteers are the heart of COSTI, embodying our mission and vision through their diverse skills, knowledge and shared experiences.

At COSTI, we believe in empowering individuals to build a better future for themselves and their families. We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of newcomers and Canadians by providing them with the tools, guidance and support they need to succeed. By volunteering with us, you can make a lasting impact in their lives and your community.

We are fortunate to have hundreds of volunteers who generously donate their time and talents to ensure the success of our endeavours.

Volunteer Roles Available:

• Refugee Services Support: Help refugees access essential services, complete government forms, navigate their new community, develop social connections, tutoring and more.
• Language Support: Provide newcomers with translation support and/or improve their English and communication skills.
• Employment and Skills Support: Come alongside youth and adults with mentorship, networking and skills development opportunities to help them succeed in the Canadian job market.
• Social Services Support: Lend a hand in one of our many programs such as helping seniors or temporarily hosting a newcomer family.
• Other Support: Assist with administration, donations, special events and more.
