COSTI'S 2022-23 ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT
For over 70 years, our work at COSTI has been grounded in ensuring all newcomers and diverse communities are empowered to succeed and fulfil their full potential, and last year was no different. Our 2022-23 fiscal year was one of remarkable growth, resilience, and commitment, as we continued to advocate for and deliver on issues that matter the most — advocating for affordable housing policies, promoting employment and skills training programs to ensure everyone can prosper in Canada, leading educational initiatives, and conversations against gender-based violence, sharing best practices in settlement, and profiling the achievements of many diverse communities.
We are excited to share our 2022/23 Annual Impact Report, which highlights our commitment to the community, and our holistic, integrated approach to building a more prosperous and inclusive Canada. Our one-stop-shop approach instills a sense of confidence, convenience, and comfort, to help clients navigate through what can often be a challenging and solitary experience.
We are proud to serve tens of thousands of newcomers and individuals in need of assistance each year, through our four service pillars and 38 programs. Our success would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our 400+ workforce and complement of 318 volunteers, who last year contributed 16,269 volunteer hours to support our clients.
As a leader in this sector, we will continue to build on our achievements to respond and adapt to the evolving needs of our clients and community as we work towards creating a more inclusive and prosperous Canada for all to thrive.
