COSTI WELCOMES ITS INAUGURAL CFO TO SPEARHEAD STRATEGIC FINANCIAL INITIATIVES

COSTI, a leading service provider in the settlement sector, has announced the appointment of Farhad Sethna as its inaugural Chief Financial Officer, effective October 7, 2024.

Farhad brings more than twenty years of business leadership experience, poised to enhance the organization’s financial planning and operations. He is a purposeful financial strategist and operations leader who crafts innovative strategies and fiscal policies to drive profitable growth while effectively managing change and promoting efficiency. His expertise in business, finance and technology allows him to consistently meet goals. His collaborative leadership style fosters highly motivated teams and emphasizes consensus-building, empowerment, diversity and inclusion.

Farhad has experience from both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, he has held senior leadership positions where he developed finance and operation-strategies, established diversified revenue streams, boosted revenue, reduced expenses, and established successful expansions.

 Since 2015, Farhad has served as a Board Director for the Alzheimer Society of Ontario and Canada, providing financial and governance oversight.

At COSTI, Farhad will spearhead the organization’s fiscal management, overseeing financial operations, information technology, strategic planning, and risk management. He will provide strategic counsel and insights to inform decision-making while leading budgeting, reporting, and analysis to ensure regulatory compliance. Farhad is committed to enhancing financial processes that support sustainable growth and maximize impact.

He holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Director (C. Dir), Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), and Certified Association Executive (CAE).
