Canadian Italian Family Assistance Association
The Canadian Italian Family Assistance Association (CIFAA) is dedicated to assisting individuals and families, to access all socio-economic entitlements, domestic or foreign. Services are offered primarily to Canadians of Italian origin, as well as individuals from the Portuguese and Hispanic communities. COSTI oversees the management of CIFAA, and acts as its trustee.
Services Available
- Information on foreign pensions
- Referrals to COSTI and other Patronati (Italian pension information offices)
- Documentation of government pension forms and other government communications
- Translation and notarization
- Assistance in accessing pensions, welfare and compensation entitlements
Service is provided in English and Italian.
Who is Eligible
Services are available to all seniors and adult members of the Italian-Canadian population as well as those from other heritages residing in Toronto.

Monday – Friday: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
