Federal Internship for Newcomers (FIN) Program
The FIN program offers eligible newcomers a chance to gain valuable temporary work experience and training opportunities with Canadian federal, provincial and municipal organizations. Paid internships are available to successful candidates.
Temporary Positions:
- Administrative Clerk (CR-04)
- Program Officer (PM-02)
- IT Infrastructure Operations/Software Solutions (IT-01)
- Procurement/Material Management Officer (PG-02)
- Policy/Economic Analyst (EC-02) *Ottawa residents only*
Pre-register and determine if you are eligible for the 2024/2025 FIN Program.

Who is Eligible
- Permanent resident or Canadian citizen
- Living in Canada for 10 years or less
- Residents of Greater Toronto Area
- Meet educational requirements for category you apply for
- Proof of language assessment (i.e. CLB 7+ or IELTS 6+)
