Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) Training

COSTI’s ESL training is designed to help learners enhance or acquire official language skills, enabling them to actively participate in Canadian society and succeed in the labour market.

By integrating employment-related content into the curriculum, our program ensures that learners are well-prepared for job opportunities and successful integration into their new communities.

Who is Eligible

This program is open to adult newcomers residing in Ontario, including asylum claimants and naturalized Canadian citizens.

Program Intake

COSTI's ESL program provides 12-week courses at CLB levels 1 to 7 across its Peel and Toronto locations, with ongoing intake for new clients.

Courses are available in-person, online, and in hybrid formats, with both daytime and evening options, Monday to Friday.

Intake Cycles:
Cycle #1: September 16 - December 6, 2024 (12 weeks)
Cycle #2: January 6 - March 28, 2025 (12 weeks)
Cycle #3: April 1 - June 23, 2025 (12 weeks)
Cycle #4: June 30 - August 1, 2025 (5 weeks)
