ESL Advanced
COSTI's ESL Advanced level program teaches students already able to communicate in English at a conversational level to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The ESL Advanced level program is delivered by certified instructors in partnership with the Toronto and York Catholic District School Board.
Services Available
- develop strategies for effective communication;
- practice speaking and listening comprehension skills in everyday social situations;
- build a solid foundation of grammar in everyday writing; and
- practice applying their English skills through a variety of methods and activities.

Who is Eligible
Services are available to Canadian citizens, landed immigrants, convention refugees, or refugee claimants approved by Citizenship Immigration Canada. Students must be 18 years of age or older and must speak English at an intermediate level.
